About UsWe are a Florida family owned and operated business.
We have been in business since January 2012. Horseshoe Creek Nature Farm is part of a fourth generation family farm, where new ideas and practices are being used to change the "old way" of doing things to produce a beyond organic natural food product while also restoring our land and improving the way that we live. |

Our History |
The Long Version : How it all began....
The Vicker's family have owned and operated a small family ranch in Davenport for four generations. Over the years the ranch has adapted and provided for our family in different ways. The ranch began to support a family with beef cattle and then citrus, later other fruits and vegetables were produced. A seed business was once operated here, where seeds were gathered from around the state and brought to the ranch, then sorted and dried and were able to be packaged and sold. As time has progressed and new technologies have been developed agriculture has evolved into big business, making it difficult for small family owned farms and ranches to survive. Hunter has a great interest in a natural lifestyle and is concerned about the products that our family consumes. After watching numerous documentaries such as, "The Beautiful Truth", "Food Inc." and various youtube videos and attending conferences, also reading several books written by Joel Salatin, we were motivated to begin our own sustainable eco-friendly farm and help make others aware of what they are actually consuming. In July 2014, Hunter attended the Field Day event at Polyface Farm in Swoope, Virginia. An thus the adventure began! |
